Reviews:Great extra battery that I carry in my backpack

For a 6400mAh power bank, I was shocked at how small the box was that it came in. The packaging was elegant but at the same time subdued. Being all cardboard, also environmentally friendly. I like that.

Once removed from its packaging, I was greeted by a very well designed product. The sides are a very nice feeling soft-touch material that unfortunately shows fingerprints readily, but feels very good to hold in your hand. On the front of the device is a single square button that you can press once to activate the charge status LED's (the four sides of the square are lit, and the lights will go out one by one as the power reserve of the power bank diminishes), and twice to activate a surprisingly bright LED flashlight located along the top of the device, next to the USB port. Another quick two presses of this button will turn the LED flashlight back off again.

The power bank supports charging one USB device with an output of 2.1A, so it can charge an iPhone just as well as an iPad, or Android phone or tablet. What impressed me is just how quickly my iPhone's battery level zipped up from below 50% all the way up to 100%. While a USB cable is plugged in, and the device is charging, the status LED's around the square button on the power bank remain lit, which is nice to be able to look at a glance and see if your power bank is running out of juice. Better than having to continually press a button to check the status. My iPhone 6 was able to be recharged from 30-50% battery remaining nearly 6 times before the power bank itself finally needed to be recharged. This is AWESOME to take with you to a theme park, sporting event, or anywhere else that you will be away from a wall or car charger for any extended period of time.

I have had other power banks that will quick-charge my devices with a 2.1A output, but they would take so long to recharge because the input port was only rated at 1A; not the PB6400CS. The input port to recharge the power bank itself is rated at 2A, which allows it to charge twice as fast as many of the power banks on the market. This is very useful indeed.

I had been using a previously purchased EasyAcc PB5000C prior to receiving this item, and due to the higher capacity, quicker charging and recharging, built-in flashlight, always-on power level remaining indicator, and sleek design, this will be the power bank that I grab first from now on, and I think you will too. Highly recommended.
